Unlike most published authors and education columnists, her voice landed in print as a result of her family’s personal journey through the academic landscape.
Karin brings a parent’s view of learning into our homes and back to the education community. Sure, she has worked as a substitute, served on a (charter) school board, and reported on breaking national education news from the White House. But Karin is far from your traditional edu-writer. She writes from having been there and done that. Private, charter, virtual, home ed and traditional schools (Oh my!)–her family has been through each.
